Sitting down
If you are watching a table in progress and there is an empty seat, you can sit down by clicking on the button. You may then be presented with a choice of seats. Click the one you want to sit in. In some seats, you may have to wait a turn before you can play (you are not allowed to join just after the small button). You may also be asked how much you want to buy in for. Most tables have a minimum and maximum buy in.
Alternatively, you can click the button from the Play poker page. The server will assign you to a table appropriate to your experience level that has an empty seat.
Sitting out
You can sit out any hand. When you are sitting out, you are still assessed the big blind and small blind, but you are not dealt cards, and the game proceeds as if you have folded.
Sit out by checking the checkbox. If you are in the middle of a hand, you will sit out starting with the next hand. To finish sitting out, uncheck the box.
Standing up
You may stand up from the table by clicking on the button or by clicking away from the table. While a hand is in progress, the button shows as a checkbox to indicate that you will stand up once the hand is done.
If you navigate away from the table in the middle of a hand, it is as if you folded for that hand, and you will stand up once the hand ends.
